What is planned?

A historico-cultural spectacle in which Prince Ernst of Holstein-Schaumburg, who has heard of the calamities in his beloved realm, will emerge from the past. He will face and address today's questions and problems, wishing to contribute to their solution. While Prince Ernst travels Schaumburg country, court meetings may be held wherever enthralling legal disputes are pending and the populace show interest in his appearance. Then, grappling with the complaints, worries and hardships of the people, Prince Ernst will do his very best to settle these disputes, exhibiting the wisdom of Solomon.

The Prince will have a sympathetic ear for everyone and each and every issue, no matter if it is a case against the all-powerful State, if the wicked neighbouring village or town is to be denounced as such, if a project doggedly rejected by the Prince's governor is to be launched at last, or anything someone has been wanting to get off his chest for a long time. Lodge your appeal with the Prince. In order to do so please provide us with the opportunity of contacting you by giving us your address, phone number, or email address.

Who may take part? Towns and villages, clubs and drama groups as well as any other group or individual wishing to appeal to the Prince. Please put in your application by addressing what the burning issue is to you, and by stating who you are. The Prince will decide if he is able to attend to your matter. Needless to say, the court meetings may be embedded in a variety of activities that create a cheerful atmosphere. Should you be able to give a music or dance performance, a display of juggling, or to make any other offer that may serve to entertain and amuse the Prince, please let us know. The Prince will enjoy being entertained by a cultural programme provided on-site.
